Ten years ago I probably would have told you that January was my least favorite month. We just celebrated Christmas and all the magic of winter seemed to fade away and we were left with dirty snow and dead Christmas Trees (which by the way- does anybody else still have their Christmas Tree at the bottom of their driveway yet to be picked up by the city of Hudson?!) Anyways, I’m not about to tell you that January is my favorite month now, but I’ve come to appreciate the quietness of this month (yes this completely proves I’m getting old). I like the clean feel of our home after the decorations are down, revisiting old goals and making new ones, and all the kids seem to be happier when they’re back on their routine- minus those first couple of transition days 🙂 We’ve actually even had a few warm days this month which were unexpected but super nice- but sledding for the boys and even Evelyn has been super fun. Feeling grateful for a change of pace from the holidays and the opportunity to capture my kids this past month!
