I’m Stef,

I’m a wife, mom, believer, lover of stripes and coconut and the Fall, an extrovert, and obviously, a photographer. Photography holds a dear place in my heart because I fell in love with photography when we were far from our family and friends. It was during this transition that I truly realized the power of a photograph. Friends would tell me that they felt like they were right there in our home in New York simply by the photos I shared. I would document my son and I huddled by our space heater building puzzles in the cold winters, and then licking popsicles on our front porch in the scorching summers, and other simple memories like going on our almost daily walk to the park down the street. To some these memories may seem mundane to look back on, but to me they were the ones I never want to forget and I am so thankful I took the time to document this stage of our life. When we felt the calling to adopt our son from China, I decided to boldly step out (with some AWESOME encouragement from my husband) and start a business to raise support to bring our little guy home. And I am so incredibly thankful we did. It truly is a privilege for me to capture these precious moments of your family. I have met so many sweet couples, snuggled countless newborns, and heard some of the most touching stories. So thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture this moment in your life. It truly is an honor.
